There’s something special about fresh beginnings, and we’re excited for this next chapter of Pinnacle Tax & Accounting.

Being a small, locally owned business means so much more to us than simply providing a service. It’s the relationships we’ve built, the familiar faces that walk through our doors, and the trust our clients place in us year after year.

While we may have a new look, the heart of Pinnacle remains the same. We’re looking forward to all that’s ahead and continuing to be a part of the community we’re so proud to serve.

📣 WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED SEASONAL TAX PREPARER

Pinnacle Tax & Accounting is looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season!

📅 Approx. January 15 – April 15
Position may extend beyond April 15 depending on workload.

We’re looking for someone with several years of tax preparation experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment during tax season. This could be a great fit for someone who has worked seasonally in tax preparation and is looking for a new opportunity this coming season.

What we’re looking for:
• Several years of tax preparation experience preferred
• Must have a recognized tax preparation credential/qualification
• Enrolled Agent (EA) strongly preferred, but not required
• Experience preparing individual tax returns
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Friendly and professional with clients

💰 Competitive pay + bonus structure

🕐 Flexible scheduling may be available!
During tax season, our office is open Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, which gives us some flexibility when building schedules. We’re open to discussing different scheduling options with the right candidate.

This is a seasonal position, making it a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys tax preparation but isn’t necessarily looking for a year-round commitment.

What started out as a dream and 50 clients about 15 years ago has grown to over 2,000 clients this year. We am honored that Pinnacle Tax has been nominated as one of the best of Marathon again for the 8th year in a row and has won a couple of those times. Only one other firm in Wausau can say the same.
