He was the PTA president for two consecutive years at Knotts Island Elementary School. During that time, the PTA donated over $7,000 worth of playground equipment to the school. Ben has also taken an active role by coaching various sports while his kids were young. Most recently, Ben has been volunteering as an Assistant Scout Master with his son’s Boy Scout Troop.
