It is with great sadness that we must inform everyone that Michelle Nguyen has passed away. She had a long and hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer and passed at home surrounded by her loved ones.

For those asking for past years' tax returns, you can request a copy free of charge from the IRS. You can access your personal tax records online or by mail, including transcripts of past tax returns, tax account information, wage and income statements, and verification of non-filing letters. A complete copy of a previously filed tax return, along with all attachments (including Form W-2) can be requested from the IRS for a processing fee.

Our family is not in a position to take over her business for this tax season. We'll have to ask you to look for an alternative preparer.

Thank you for being her clients for as long as you all did. She truly gave her heart and soul to her business and to her clients. She was absolutely wonderful and will be sorely missed.

The IRS has extended the deadline for San Diego County only until June 17th.
For the rest is still April 15th, 2024.

Please be aware that as of March 15th, I will no longer be accepting any more clients for the remainder of this tax year. If you need a referral for another tax preparer, I can provide one upon request. I appreciate your understanding as I continue my health journey this year.

Due to my current health, I will need more time to complete your taxes this year.

Happy New Year. May it bring us Peace, Love, Happiness, Good Health, and Good Fortune!

I am all set up and ready for the upcoming Tax Season.
Thank you, sincerely, for your continued support through the years with me. It really meant a lot to me, especially last year, when I went through some unexpected health issues.

The IRS said on Monday that the 2024 tax season will begin on Jan. 29, so the agency will begin accepting and processing tax returns that day.
Also, when it comes to state taxes, a majority of states adhere to the federal government's timetable, but some have their own schedules, so I'll update you as I receive those updates.
Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming do not collect income taxes.

It is time to start checking your mailbox daily for any important tax-related paperwork you'll need to gather for me.

On a personal note: I am still going through with my health treatments and probably will have limited work capacity this year.
Please consider this as you prepare your tax documents for me. I would appreciate receiving them early, that way I can make plans accordingly as well. I'll work with each individual client and case-by-case situation. Thank you for your understanding.

Please email me: at: [email protected]

Looking forward to being of service to you and working with you soon.

4 Home Improvements That Can Lower (or Eliminate) Your Tax Bill

We know. It’s tax season and you’re knee-deep in paperwork and you already dipped into your savings to remodel your home last year and now you have to pay more money to the IRS and you just want it all to end already.

Wait, back the truck up. Did you say you remodeled your home? You might be in luck. If you’ve made the right kind of renovations, you could deduct the expense or even get a tax credit—which promises to lower the amount you owe to the IRS. And if you’re planning to renovate—or even to buy a home that could require renovations—you’d do well to approach it so you can reap these rewards, too.

Here are four big renovations that can lower your tax bill.

You might be owed a tax credit if you've made any major renovations, which promise to significantly lower (or even eliminate) the amount you owe to the IRS.
