Just a few hours left until we close out 2024 and welcome in a new year, and we can’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful and proud for everything we’ve experienced as a firm these past 12 months: continued growth and expansion, welcoming new team members, supporting and delivering for our incredible clients, providing growth opportunities for our people, cultivating strong industry relationships, and so much more. And of course, because we’re CWDL, we made sure to have plenty of fun throughout the journey!

If you’re an accountant, or if you have an accountant in your life, you know what season it is.

Busy Season.

At no time of year is your task list longer. You see spreadsheets and tax forms in your dreams. You’re working such long hours that the dog forgets who you are.

Okay, maybe that last one is an exaggeration – but the first few months of the year are definitely a marathon.

With our mortgage banking and business tax teams staring down upcoming deadlines, we want to publicly say THANK YOU for all of their hard work and dedication to our clients! Our audit team is auditing, our tax team is tax return-ing, and our accounting team is actively supporting clients going through their annual audit. It’s all hands on deck this time of year, and those hands here at CWDL are incredibly capable, committed, and determined.

Wishing our mortgage banking and business tax teams – and all accountants with upcoming deadlines – a successful 2024 busy season! We’re so grateful for your hard work.

While we can’t say we’ve achieved perfect work/life balance, we can say with certainty that we wholeheartedly value the commitments and contributions of our working parents.
