We are excited to be back at the University of San Diego today for a Lunch & Learn Event!

This networking opportunity gives us the chance to meet USD Accounting Students and offer them insight on recruiting tips and how update their resume and what to even expect for their first week on the job. We always look forward to meeting future accountants- thank you for inviting us to be a part of this event!

Today members of the GPW Family gathered together to serve our community with . Feeding San Diego’s Mission is to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue.

We helped prepare over 19,000lbs of food and loaded a total of 24 pallets full of beverages weighing over 15,000 pounds...all of which will be given to those in need throughout San Diego. We were honored to be a part of the Feeding San Diego mission today.

Thank you to the GPW Community Service Committee for coordinating this event and thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of it!

This weekend and GPW met up in the hills of Los Penasquitos Canyon for a fun, family friendly hike!

The weather was perfect and it was a great opportunity to connect with our fellow CPA's outside of the office environment. Thank you for putting the hike together, we can't wait to get outdoors with you for the next one!

Congratulations to our Busy Season Showdown Winners, Team MAKAH Madness!

Aaron, Kiara, Adamaris, Marika, Holly and Tien logged a total of 3.5 million steps between August 18th and October 11th to take home the win! Congratulations and job well done for staying active during this fall busy season.

Happy 17th work anniversary to Andrew Bolinger!

We asked Andrew a few questions to get to know him better and here is what he had to say:
1. What is one thing you are most looking forward to this year?
Taking a family trip after October 15th with my 8-year- old son, Vance and my 6-year-old daughter, Drew.
2. What is your favorite GPW memory?
Getting the whole GPW team together to celebrate another successful end to tax filing season every April 15th.
3. What is your favorite movie?

September 15- October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month and we wanted to take a moment to highlight one of our team members!

Guisell Cote shares about Fiestas Patrias- Peru's Independence Day where everyone comes together to celebrate with music, traditional dances, and food.

"Food is always at the heart of our traditions. Family gatherings typically include dishes like lomo saltado, ceviche, causa and anticuchos. For dessert, we often enjoy picarones (sweet potato doughnuts with syrup) or mazamorra morada (a purple corn pudding). These foods are more than just meals, they are memories passed down from my parents and grandparents that connect us to Peru, no matter where we are."
