You don't have to obsess over your loans every day, but completely ignoring your account isn't a great strategy either.

Your communication could tell you that your payment is changing, you need to recertify, you have a deadline to choose a new repayment plan, or your loan status has changed.

Look for three things: What changed? What action is required? When does it need to happen?
