We join the Salisbury University Foundation in recognizing and thanking the members of its Board of Directors for their leadership, service, and commitment to supporting Salisbury University and its students.
The Foundation's growth from a $300 endowment in 1973 to nearly $170 million today is a testament to the dedication of countless board members who have helped advance its mission over the years.
We are especially proud that our own Ashley Stern recently concluded her four-year term as Chairperson of the Foundation's Board of Directors. Thank you, Ashley, and all Foundation board members, past and present, for your commitment to higher education and our community.
The Salisbury University Foundation Board of Directors gathered on September 10 for its Fall Board Meeting. Since the Foundation's creation in 1973, its mission has been to accumulate and steward funds through gifts and investments while fostering, encouraging, and enriching the educational programs, athletics, scholarships, and activities of Salisbury University.
Our Board of Directors plays a vital role in governing the Foundation and advancing this mission. Through their leadership, committee work, dedication, and service, board members provide invaluable support that strengthens both the Foundation and the University.
What began in 1973 with an endowment of just $300 has grown to nearly $170 million today. This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the commitment, generosity, and guidance of our Board of Directors over the years.
To all current, past, and future board members, thank you for your time, dedication, and unwavering support of the Salisbury University Foundation and Salisbury University. We are deeply grateful for all you have done, continue to do, and will do to support our students, our university, and our community.
