Sycamore was built in the middle of real life — raising kids, building businesses, juggling schedules, and occasionally bringing the whole family along for the ride.

To all the working parents out there balancing client calls with daycare pickup, deadlines with sick days, and big goals with little people who need you: we see you.

Some days the balance works. Some days it absolutely does not. But we’re pretty grateful these two get a front-row seat to watching Mom and Dad build something we’re proud of. ❤️

The family behind the business, the Allens enjoyed Working Parents Day at school today (some of us more than others 😂). But if being a parent has taught us one thing, it’s that running a business might actually be easier than getting a toddler to smile for a photo. 🫣

Parenting stretches our patience, tests our adaptability, and reminds us to celebrate progress over perfection—all skills that come in handy every day at Sycamore. 🌳💼
