Charitable giving could come with a new tax benefit in 2026.

Taxpayers who take the standard deduction may now be able to deduct certain charitable contributions, up to $1,000 for individuals and $2,000 for married couples filing jointly.

This week, we’re introducing Natalie Cunningham, CPA, Senior Tax Accountant at ClearPath!

Natalie has been a member of the ClearPath team since starting as an intern in January 2022. What she enjoys most about ClearPath is that she’s never bored! She can always count on a fresh challenge and the opportunity to serve the community.

Natalie lives in Overland Park, KS, with her four “roommates” who don’t pay rent: her daughter, son, and two kitties!

She attended the University of Kansas, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business.

Outside the office, Natalie is still discovering what she enjoys doing most since there are so many possibilities!

A fun fact about Natalie is that she can overthink just about anything!

September 30th Document Deadline for Individuals.

If your individual tax return is on an extension, September 30 is the deadline to submit your remaining tax documents through our client portal.

Our team requires all documents at least two weeks before the October 15 individual filing deadline to allow adequate time to prepare and review your return.

Submit any remaining documents by September 30 to help keep your return on track.

What he enjoys most about ClearPath is simple: the people!

Shawn lives in Blue Springs, MO, with his brother David and sister Vanessa! He attended Emory University, where he double majored in Economics and Psychology.

Outside the office, Shawn enjoys traveling Latin America, salsa dancing, The Rocky Horror, and spending time with his Nissan 350z.

Something you may not know about Shawn is that he is currently working to learn the dance Casino Rueda, which is a style group of salsa dancing!

What Jordan enjoys most about ClearPath is getting to be creative, bringing new ideas to life, and being surrounded by such a supportive team. She appreciates being part of a company where she is encouraged to try new things and continue learning along the way.

Jordan lives in Overland Park, Kansas, with her dog, Cash. She recently graduated from the University of Arkansas, where she received her degree in Sports Management and Marketing.

Outside the office, Jordan enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and discovering new places in Kansas City.

Something you may not know about Jordan is that she grew up playing basketball and softball, with basketball becoming her main sport. During her junior year of high school, she ranked 13th in the state of Kansas for average points scored per game.
