Wrapping Up the Open Enrollment Series
Over the past few weeks, we've been sharing ideas to help make the most of open enrollment season.
We've covered:
✅ Maximizing retirement plan contributions
✅ Evaluating Roth and after-tax contribution opportunities
✅ Making the most of an HSA
✅ Reviewing life insurance needs
✅ Updating beneficiary designations
✅ Ensuring your benefits elections align with your overall financial plan
What I've learned after working with many successful professionals is that the biggest opportunities are often not found in a single decision.
They're found in how all of the pieces work together.
Open enrollment can be an excellent reminder to step back and ask:
• Is my retirement strategy still aligned with my goals?
• Am I taking advantage of all available savings opportunities?
• Have I addressed potential tax planning opportunities?
• Is my family protected if something unexpected happens?
• Do my beneficiary designations and estate plan still reflect my wishes?
Sometimes a quick review simply confirms you're on the right track. Other times it uncovers opportunities that could make a meaningful difference over time.
