๐Ÿšจ IMPORTANT IMMIGRATION UPDATE: ICE Changes Vehicle Stop Rules!

ICE has issued new internal guidance restricting Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officers from engaging in high-speed vehicle pursuits when a driver fails to stop.

โš ๏ธ But this does NOT mean ICE enforcement or arrests have stopped.

If you're stopped or approached by ICE, it's important to know your rights.

โœ… Stay calm and avoid resisting.
โœ… You generally have the right to remain silent.
โœ… If you're driving, keep your valid driver's license, registration, and insurance available.
โœ… You can refuse consent to a vehicle search, although officers may have other legal grounds to search.
โœ… If you or a loved one is detained, contact a qualified immigration attorney as soon as possible.

๐Ÿ“Œ Every situation is different. Stay informed, understand your rights, and don't rely on rumors.

Your case is taking forever? Is it really late? โณ

Waiting for an immigration case can be stressful, but a case taking longer than expected does not always mean something is wrong.

USCIS processing times can vary based on the form type, service center or field office, workload, case complexity, biometrics, background checks, and requests for additional evidence.

Before assuming your case is delayed, check whether it is actually outside the normal processing time listed by USCIS.

๐Ÿ“Œ Hereโ€™s what you can do:
โœ… Check your caseโ€™s current processing time
โœ… Compare it with your receipt date
โœ… Review any USCIS notices or RFEs
โœ… Submit a service request if your case qualifies
โœ… Stay informed about updates to your case

๐Ÿ’™ Need help understanding where your case stands?
The Immigration Sisters can help you check whether your case is outside the normal processing time and assist with the appropriate next steps.

โณ Is your immigration case taking longer than expected?

A long wait doesn't always mean your case is delayed beyond normal USCIS processing times.

Processing times vary depending on your application type, USCIS office, workload, and individual circumstances.

Before worrying, check the estimated processing time for your case on the official USCIS website.

๐Ÿ“Œ If your case is outside normal processing times, you may be eligible to submit a service request.

At The Immigration Sisters, we can help you review your case status, organize your documents, and prepare eligible USCIS inquiries.
