Women are more likely to need long-term care.
Letβs talk numbers:
-> A private room in a nursing facility currently exceeds $100,000 per year.
-> Home health services run between $50,000 and $70,000 annually, depending on the level of care needed.
-> Medicare covers very little of this. Medicaid requires spending down assets to qualify.
Factoring long-term care into your retirement plan while you still have options changes what those options look like when you need them.
If long-term care is a hole in your current plan, we'd love to help walk through your options: curoprivatewealth.com/get-in-touch

π Success in your career does not mean you have to know everything about personal finance.
π― We created a space where women can ask questions, gain clarity, and make informed financial decisions without feeling judged or talked down to.
π¬ Financial confidence starts with conversations where every question is welcome.

Retirement planning does a thorough job of addressing the financial picture. The identity shift that comes with leaving a decades-long career is a different kind of preparation.
For women who have built their careers, stepping away from work means stepping away from a structure that has defined their days, their relationships, and their sense of purpose for decades.
The financial picture is just one part of being ready. Knowing what you're walking into as you transition from one chapter to the next is equally important.
At Curo, we think planning for retirement means planning for all of it. If you'd like to see what that looks like in practice, we'd love to connect.

The habits that carry you through the busiest months of the year are built during the calmer ones.
The behaviors you establish now, while there's time and bandwidth to be intentional about them, are the ones most likely to stick when the pace picks up again.
Before back-to-school, before fall sports, before the holidays, if there's a financial habit you've been meaning to build, this is the window to do it.
What's one financial habit you've been putting off that you could start this month?

π© A financial red flag is making a purchase that goes against the goals you set for yourself.
π± Impulse spending, especially when scrolling social media, can lead to decisions you later regret.
π Take time to reflect on what triggered the purchase and identify ways to avoid repeating the pattern.

How much is enough?
Not enough to retire on someone else's timeline, but enough to live the way you actually want to live, for as long as you'll need to live it. Enough to walk away from work on your own terms, support the people you love, and give generously to the causes that are important to you.
That question is more useful than "How much do I need to save?" and the answers are more personal. Once your number is clear, every other financial decision starts to make sense against it.
If you haven't defined your βenoughβ yet, we'd love to help you work through it.
