August 31 is the last day of Black Business Month. Let’s remember last does not always have to mean final; to me, last can mean new beginnings - similar to the “glass is half full” idiom. Challenges are about perspective. What is your perspective?
Please continue to support black businesses, small businesses, and other minority businesses because it is the socially responsible action to take. Let’s take the opportunity to understand history and the importance of “paying it forward.”
Let’s give tribute to the founders of Black History month: Historian John William Templeton and engineer Fredrick E. Jordan.
