If your status says "we have received tax return and it's still being processed"
Don't panic, the IRS announced an estimate that most people claiming the EITC or ACTC will get their refunds by March 1st
The most accurate way to check the status of your refund is not by using the Where's my refund tool
Instead, you are going to want to view your 2021 Record of Account Transcript and look for code 846
How do I view my transcript?
1. Go to IRS.gov/transcript
2. Click get transcript online
•If it says please wait high demand just literally wait, the login screen will come up next
3. log in to your account or create one if you don't have one
4. For reason select other and leave CAF number blank
5. Click 2021 under record of account transcripts
• If yours says N/A this means your return has not been fully processed
6. Next, look for code 846 that ends in the year 2022
•This is your refund and deposit date

🗣Here are the facts👇🏽
CHILD & DEPENDENT CARE CREDIT $8000??
🗣INSERT STRAIGHT FROM THE IRS!!
There are alot of incorrect FB statuses floating around, much like always around this time. Please double check information you get from your FB friends. Everyone's tax situation is not the same!
SEE FACTS BELOW
* This reduces your Tax liability first (taxes you owe), this does not mean you are automatically going to get $8000‼️
* The amounts are actually UP TO 4000 for one child & UP TO $8000 for two or more.
*There are alot of Factors that will play into the credit,
- How much money you made for the year
- The Tax Liability
- How much you paid for child care

The House has approved the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill today after the Senate narrowed eligibility limits for the third round of $1,400 stimulus checks. This means that individual taxpayers earning over $80,000 and joint filers making over $160,000 will be excluded from getting a stimulus payment. The bill will now move on to President Joe Biden’s desk to get signed into law this week.
