Trash happens. Good thing we’re on it. 🗑️😉

Our Downtown Improvement District ambassadors are out every day collecting, cleaning and keeping Providence looking its best.

You leave it behind. We’ll take it from here. 🚛✨

When your vehicle needs a little jump start, you call the DID Ambassadors. 💪🏼

Our Ambassadors are always ready to lend a hand and today, they had a little help from the DID truck. 💛

Just another day of keeping Downtown Providence moving!

Trash pickup isn’t always pretty, but it’s an important part of keeping Downtown Providence and Capital Center clean.🧹🗑️

Our Ambassadors are out every day tackling everything from routine litter to larger, messier situations like this one. It’s work that often happens quietly behind the scenes, but makes a very visible difference in our downtown.

Volume can change dramatically throughout the year. When Providence’s college students return for the academic year, overall trash collected downtown can increase by an additional 9 to 15 tons, adding to the seasonal demands our team manages.

No matter the season or the situation, our Ambassadors are there, doing the work and taking pride in the streets they care for.
A cleaner downtown doesn’t just happen. 💙

August by the numbers. 📊💪

A cleaner, safer, and more welcoming Downtown doesn’t just happen, our Ambassadors are out there every day making it happen.

In August alone, the DID team completed 754 safety patrols, provided 548 hospitality assists, removed 59 instances of graffiti, and collected 13 TONS of trash, along with hundreds of hours dedicated to cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, and special projects throughout Downtown Providence and Capital Center.

These numbers tell only part of the story. Behind every stat is an Ambassador showing up, lending a hand, and taking pride in our city. 💙

Thank you to our incredible team for another month of hard work and dedication to Downtown Providence!

Ending summer with a little appreciation for the people who help keep Downtown Providence looking its best. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Alan Chille and our wonderful friends at the Providence Performing Arts Center for once again hosting their annual end-of-summer lunch for our Downtown Ambassadors. It’s a tradition we look forward to every year, and seeing that special message up on the PPAC marquee made it even sweeter!

We’re so grateful for partners like Alan and PPAC who recognize the hard work our Ambassadors put in every day to keep Downtown welcoming, clean and beautiful.

Thank you for celebrating our team! ☀️👏
