⏰ TAX EXTENSION DEADLINE IS ALMOST HERE!

If you filed an extension for your 2025 personal tax return, the deadline to file is:

📅 Thursday, October 15, 2026

If you haven’t gotten your information to us yet, now is the time! Please don’t wait until the last minute to bring in or upload your tax documents.

⚠️ Remember: An extension gave you additional time to file, but it did not extend the time to pay any tax that was due.

📂 Drop off your documents or upload them securely through our client portal.

🚨 WV VEHICLE OWNERS — IMPORTANT TAX CREDIT REMINDER! 🚗💰

If you want to qualify for the West Virginia Motor Vehicle Property Tax Credit, make sure your eligible vehicle personal property taxes are paid on time.

✅ First-half taxes must be paid BEFORE OCTOBER 1.
✅ Second-half taxes must be paid BEFORE APRIL 1.

So if you haven’t paid your first-half 2026 personal property tax yet, don’t put it off — get it paid before October 1!

And remember to keep your records. The eligible credit amount is reported to taxpayers by the WV Tax Division and claimed on the West Virginia income tax return.
