Tax Year 2019 is going well.
I can't emphasize enough keeping track of Medical expense because the floor for deducting was lowered. Even if you can't itemize deductions on Federal, there's also the hope it can be done on Oregon returns.

Quality Product, Adequate Service at a Reasonable Fee
I started SJBTA in October 2008 because I was fed up with the constraints imposed on H & R Block tax prepares. I had worked for them 21 years, and prior to that did three years free tax help to elderly and low income taxpayers through the IRS’s VITA program.
Quality Product because I take the time to review and analyze for other financial situations the client may have.
Adequate Service because I don’t rush it. It gives me the time to focus on Quality. Also, I don’t want to burn myself out.
Reasonable Fee because I had trouble stomaching my former employers fees. It’s common to see a new client, their prior return and fee, and wonder if all the advertising and office costs really add value to justify their fee. When I see a person with one or two W-2’s and a fee north of $200 I’m shocked. My goal is to charge half of what they charge.
