Wow, the final three months of the year are upon us tomorrow... I'm not sure how this is actually possible because I could've swore we just started summer!
But as I look back on the last 9 months of 2026, I can't help but feel incredibly grateful and blessed. To name just a few:
+ We completed a very successful tax season with no unnecessary extensions filed.
+ The team celebrated our end-of-tax-season with an absolutely amazing and purely blissful day at Sundara and Del Bar.
+ We implemented a brand new tool called Canopy to manage all of our clients interactions and workflows.
+ I posted for one new hire, received nearly 200 submissions, interviewed 15 amazing people, and ended up hiring 3 🤣 Two accountants and one digital marketing manager. Gotta love a good plot twist!
+ Our team had another amazing team day at the end of August with our full team together. We got professional headshots and team pictures taken, hosted a very quick ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate our "new" office building with all of our team present, and had an amazing dinner and enjoyed some cocktails/mocktails at Cimaroli's.
+ A few of our clients were in fact on extension due to their extenuating circumstances, and we have successfully filed their 9/15 taxes after completing extensive bookwork for them to prepare for their taxes. And we are so close to wrapping up our individuals who are on extension for 10/15 completion!
+ We have onboarded and interacted with so many amazing clients!
And as I look ahead to the next 90 days, I am filled with so much pride and excitement and absolute FIRE as we continue to do a lot of behind-the-scenes work to refine and improve our business processes and client interactions to best serve you all! New client meetings weekly, end of the year bookwork and clean up, tax planning and strategy for our clients, tax season prep, building a brand new sign for the business, building out a brand new website, OH MY! I am absolutely here for it. Let's freaking GOOOO ❤️👏🔥
