IF YOU GET A TEXT SAYING YOUโ€™RE โ€œPRE-APPROVEDโ€ FOR AN OBBB TAX REFUND, DO NOT REPLY. โš ๏ธ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

A Miami business owner recently shared a story about receiving a suspicious text message claiming she was automatically eligible for a new OBBB stimulus creditโ€”and that she needed to take immediate action to claim her payout.

Fortunately, she paused before handing over her Social Security number.

Scammers are actively exploiting new tax updates to target 1099 contractors, truck drivers, therapists, handymen, and small business owners across Pembroke Pines and Miami.

Here are the exact red flags to watch out for:

๐Ÿšฉ The IRS does NOT require pre-approval for deductions or credits, nor do they send random texts or make cold calls about refunds.
๐Ÿšฉ Requests for your SSN, bank account info, or IRS verification codes.
๐Ÿšฉ Messages stating "Immediate action required before you lose your benefits."

Real tax pros evaluate your actual numbers and filing history and they will never try to hook you with fake "stimulus" shortcuts. .

BEFORE YOU SPEND ALL YOUR MONEY THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND, REMEMBER SEPT 15 IS 14 DAYS AWAY. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

August just ended, which means Q3 estimated taxes are officially right around the corner.

If you are a 1099 contractor, S-Corp owner, therapist, truck driver, or handyman making income without tax automatically withheld, the IRS expects its cut of your summer earnings (June 1 โ€“ August 31) by September 15th.

Here is why you can't ignore it:

โš ๏ธ The IRS is a "Pay-As-You-Go" system: They don't want to wait until April 2027 to get paid for what you earned this summer.

โš ๏ธ Automatic Penalties: If you expect to owe $1,000 or more for 2026 and skip this payment, you get hit with underpayment penalties.

โš ๏ธ Cash Flow Drain: Waiting until year-end creates a massive, unexpected tax bill that eats up your profits.

Enjoy the long weekend, but don't let the holiday distract you from keeping your cash flow protected.

๐Ÿ’ฌ DM us "SEPTEMBER" right now to see what you need to calculate before the deadline hits!

SEPTEMBER 15TH COULD COST YOU THOUSANDS IN IRS PENALTIES IF YOUโ€™RE NOT PREPARED. โš ๏ธ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

The IRS operates on a "pay-as-you-go" systemโ€”and the 3rd quarter estimated tax payment deadline covers all business income earned between June 1st and August 31st.

If you expect to owe $1,000 or more in federal taxes for 2026, waiting until April 2027 to pay means automatic underpayment penalties and a massive surprise bill.

This deadline directly impacts:

๐Ÿš› Truck Drivers & Owner-Operators hauling heavy loads through peak season.
๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ Licensed Therapists in Private Practice managing client session income.
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Handymen, Plumbers & Trade Contractors taking on summer jobs.
๐Ÿ’ผ 1099 Independent Contractors & S-Corp Owners with no tax automatically withheld from payouts.

Swipe through the carousel to calculate what's due, see who needs to pay, and learn how to protect your cash flow before September 15th. ๐Ÿ“ฒ

Did you know the average person spends over $2,028 a year on coffee alone? โ˜•๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

Small, recurring expenses add up fast over 12 months. When you aren't tracking daily transactions, minor costs compound into thousands of dollars in uncategorized spending that silently impacts your bottom line.

Without clean bookkeeping:

1๏ธโƒฃ Forgotten Deductions: Small, everyday business purchases slip through the cracks before tax season.

2๏ธโƒฃ Distorted P&L Statements: Confusing gross revenue with actual net cash flow leads to risky business decisions.

3๏ธโƒฃ IRS Audit Vulnerability: Uncategorized or missing expenses leave your business exposed to penalties.

Knowing your numbers isn't about giving up your daily routine. It's about having total clarity over where every dollar goes so you can maximize write-offs, protect your profits, and scale with confidence.

Stop letting cash flow slip through the cracks. Get a dedicated bookkeeping partner to be audit-proof.

When your financial files are handled with genuine care, efficiency, and speedโ€”you feel the difference immediately. ๐Ÿ’š

Huge thank you to our client Christine B. for this incredible reminder of why I do what I do!

When you hand over a stack of tax or bookkeeping files, you aren't just looking for someone to "get the job done." You deserve:

1๏ธโƒฃ Efficiency: Fast turnarounds so your financial process doesn't drag on.
2๏ธโƒฃ Support: A team that actually takes the time to guide you step-by-step.
3๏ธโƒฃ Care: Total confidence that your business documents are safe and organized.

Hearing "the community is proud of you" means everything to me. Serving small business owners and local entrepreneurs with excellence will always be our standard.

STOP RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS BLIND BEFORE THE IRS STOPS IT FOR YOU. โš ๏ธ๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿฝ

Attention Florida truck drivers, handymen, and 1099 contractors:

If you are working 50+ hours a week but have NO IDEA what your exact monthly numbers are, you aren't just losing profitโ€”you are walking directly into an IRS audit trap.

Bookkeeping isn't just saving paper receipts in a shoebox. It is knowing:

1๏ธโƒฃ Your exact cost per job, mile, or session (fuel, tools, overhead, software).
2๏ธโƒฃ Your true net monthly income before tax season hits.
3๏ธโƒฃ How to make smart financial moves that protect your hard-earned money.

Operating without clean numbers means overpaying on your quarterly taxes, missing thousands in eligible write-offs, and risking heavy penalties.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Comment or DM us "FIX MY BOOKS" right now to lock down your financial defense before quarter-end!

I almost deleted this email.

It came in on a busy day, when I already had a long list of things to handle.

The subject line was simple:

โ€œI ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ฝ, ๐—ฏ๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—บ๐˜† ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐˜€ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ฎ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€.โ€

The email said:

โ€œHi Christine,

Someone recommended that I reach out to you. I've been putting off getting my bookkeeping cleaned up because honestly, I'm embarrassed by how disorganized everything is.

I'm not even sure if my books are too far gone for you to help me.

Would you be willing to talk?โ€

I almost told myself, I'll respond later.

๐—•๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—œ ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ป'๐˜.

And I'm so glad I took the time to respond.

Because that email reminded me of something I never want a business owner to forget:

You don't have to have everything figured out before you ask for help.
Your books don't have to be perfect.
Your receipts don't have to be perfectly organized.
You don't need to understand every report.
And you definitely don't need to feel embarrassed about where you are starting.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't fixing the numbers.

It's taking the first step toward fixing them.

And that first step can be as simple as sending an email.

So if you've been avoiding your books because you're worried they're โ€œtoo messyโ€...

Please don't let embarrassment cost you clarity.

๐Ÿ“ฉ Send The Nice Tax Co. a message. Tell us where you're stuck. We'll start there.
