For 10 years, KBKG has been proud to support Door of Hope’s Secret Santa/Angel Tree program and help make the holiday season a little brighter for families experiencing homelessness.
Each year, KBKG team members become “angels,” carefully selecting families and working to make sure every family member receives the gifts and holiday essentials on their wish list. Together, we typically sponsor 15–20 families, and this year, we’re hoping to support around 18.
The tradition has a special connection to Laura Diallo, Chair of the KBKG Volunteer Committee, who has helped lead our volunteer efforts for nearly 18 years. Ten years ago, Laura was referred to Door of Hope while searching for an organization that would allow KBKG to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in our Pasadena community.
Since then, what started as an effort to bring holiday joy to families has grown into a decade-long partnership.
We’re grateful to Laura and all of the KBKG “angels” who continue to make this tradition possible, and to Door of Hope for the incredible work they do to empower families experiencing homelessness to transform their lives.
Here’s to 10 years of giving, community and holiday spirit.
