RCJ TAX AND CREDIT REPAIR SERVICES
Tax Preparation & Documentation Policy
At RCJ Taxes, we take the necessary steps to prepare accurate, compliant tax returns. If documentation is required to support a filing status, dependent, credit, income, deduction, or business expense and you cannot provide it, we cannot make the claim.
What We Require
1. Identity & Income
* Valid photo ID
* Social Security cards/ITIN information
* W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, retirement, unemployment, investment, and other income documents
* Prior-year return when requested
* Signed engagement letter
2. Claiming Dependents
For every dependent, RCJ Taxes requires:
* Social Security card
* Birth certificate
* Additional school, medical, daycare, custody, or residency records may be requested
Providing a Social Security card and birth certificate alone does not automatically establish eligibility.
3. Head of Household
If claiming Head of Household, you must be able to support your eligibility. We may request a lease/mortgage statement, utility bills, household expenses, and proof that the qualifying person lived with you.
If you cannot provide sufficient information or documentation, we will not file you as Head of Household.
4. Tax Credits
Additional documentation may be required for credits including:
* Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
* Child Tax Credit (CTC/ACTC)
* Education credits
* Child & Dependent Care Credit
* Premium Tax Credit
* Other applicable credits
RCJ Taxes will ask additional questions whenever information is incomplete, inconsistent, or requires verification.
5. Business & Self-Employment Returns
Business clients should maintain documentation supporting all income and expenses, including:
* Bank statements and income records
* 1099s
* Profit & Loss statements
* Receipts and invoices
* Business supplies and expenses
* Mileage/vehicle records when applicable
* Payroll/contractor records
* Equipment and asset purchases
* Other records supporting deductions
All income, including cash income, must be reported.
Our Filing Process
RCJ Taxes will review your documents, identify missing information, complete required IRS due diligence, prepare the return, review it with you, obtain required signatures, and electronically file the return.
We will not create income or expenses, claim an ineligible dependent, use an incorrect filing status, omit income, or claim unsupported deductions or credits simply to increase a refund.
Document Retention
RCJ Taxes securely maintains required tax-preparation and due-diligence records in accordance with applicable IRS requirements. Clients should also keep copies of their returns and supporting documents for their own records.
NO DOCUMENTATION, NO CLAIM.
If RCJ Taxes requests documentation to support something being reported on your return, it must be provided before we can make that claim.
Our goal is not simply to obtain the largest refund—it is to prepare an accurate, compliant, and properly supported tax return while protecting both our clients and RCJ Taxes.
