🚀 A NEW BNI YEAR IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! 🚀

Today was a little different at BNI Lake of the Ozarks — we kicked off the year with a closed meeting and introduced our brand-new leadership team! 🎉

And let’s just say… they’re ready to hit the ground running! 👟💨

👏 President: Jason Stapleton – 1079 The Coyote
👏 VP: Adam Maher - Grand Glaize Wealth Management
👏 Secretary/Treasurer: Heather Snyder - Lake Movers

We’ve also given a few of our teams a fresh new look, including our Visitor Experience Team, a fantastic Mentor Team and Membership Committee.

And this year, we’re putting an even bigger emphasis on 1-to-1s, referrals, and building stronger relationships — because that’s where the magic happens! 🤝

💙 One of the coolest announcements today: BNI Lake of the Ozarks is setting aside $3,000 to support local nonprofits and community events this year. We love growing our businesses, but we also love giving back to the community we call home!

Today was a GREAT start to what we think is going to be an incredible year. New leadership. New energy. Same commitment to helping each other grow! 💪

🌟 Two fantastic speakers. Two great growth stories. And a whole lot of referrals! 🌟

We had a great BNI Lake of the Ozarks meeting today with Machelle Hale of Driftwood Spa & Salon and Cody Prestien of Prestien Plumbing & Septic Pumping, who shared their stories.

💆‍♀️ Machelle has seen some BIG changes since joining BNI! She started with her spa at Margaritaville, then opened Driftwood 2 Spa and Salon in Camdenton, and now has a third location at Old Kinderhook. She shared the challenges and successes—and apparently, she has a serious eye for brows! 😂 From massages and hair to manis, pedis, and more, Driftwood Spa has you covered.

🚛 Cody also shared how much his business has grown since joining BNI. He’s now up to five employees, which means you’re seeing a lot more of those Prestien Plumbing trucks around the area! He even shared some photos of the more interesting jobs he’s tackled — along with a few appearances from his kids. And judging by the pictures, snacks are apparently an essential part of his son’s job-site routine! 😂

Both speakers did a great job showing the power of relationships, referrals, and growing together through BNI.

👏 Great job, Machelle and Cody! Thanks for sharing your stories with us!
