We want to introduce you to someone very special: Kari, the founder and heart of this firm! πŸ’›

Kari didn't just start an accounting business. She built a team, a culture, and a place where clients feel like people, not file numbers.

She's the kind of accountant who will spot something in your books that saves you thousands AND make you laugh in the same conversation. πŸ˜„

Her superpower? Making people feel confident about their finances, sometimes for the very first time.

If you've ever worked with us, you've experienced what Kari built. We hope it shows.

Tell us what's the #1 thing you want from your accountant? We'd love to hear! πŸ‘‡

April 15th is behind us β€” and whether you filed on time or received an automatic extension, there are smart steps you can take right now to stay ahead.
βœ… If you filed on time:
β€’ Take a breath β€” you're done! But don't close that chapter just yet.
β€’ Review your refund or balance due and make sure everything cleared.
β€’ Start a simple folder (physical or digital) for your 2025 documents. Future-you will be grateful.
β€’ Think about any life changes this year β€” new job, new home, growing family β€” and how they might affect next year's taxes.
⏳ If you were automatically extended:
β€’ Remember: an extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay. If you owe, interest may already be accumulating.
β€’ Gather your remaining documents now β€” don't wait until October.
β€’ Use this time wisely. The extension deadline is October 15th, but sooner is always better.
Tax season doesn't have to be stressful when you stay organized year-round. You've got this! πŸ’›

PLAN TO HIRE? Many small businesses need external business financing to do so (the same goes for investing in new inventory and product development). To get that loan, you’ll need financial statements, including a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.

Accounting errors in your small business cause an increase in labor expenses. It takes time to unravel what went wrong, and you may have to pay for extra hours for review and correction. Finances that are full of errors also cause in image of unreliability in the eyes or your clients and investors, leading to a potential loss of trust.

Accountants can help maintain inventory records for your small business, as well as obtain licenses - such as sales tax permits - and advise you on business entity structure (which can change as your company grows).

Gift cards are great, right? They are versatile and perfect for the person who has everything. But the IRS never requests gift cards for tax payments. But 40,000 were tricked into losing $1.48 million this way in the first 9 months of 2021. These scammers sometimes pretend to be from the Social Security Administration, immigration or ask you to provide numbers on the back of the card to solve the "problem" they are calling about. This a sure sign of a scam. The government will never request payments this way. Report such incidents to ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
