I just passed my QuickBooks ProAdvisor recertification exam. This year is all about AI features found in most QBO versions.

There is a common theme in the AI certification courses I have taken from both the Project Management Institute (PMI.org) and Intuit: Governance is required and is the responsibility of the professional.

AI does not remove human oversight; it simply automates routine tasks so that you can focus on the ambiguous and interpersonal aspects of managing your business.

AI does not replace knowledge and skill in a particular field. AI should be used as a fuel to propel your abilities in a field or business to a higher level. Let me explain. AI will not make you an Accountant if you have no concrete knowledge of accounting fundamentals and best practices. However, when used properly, AI will advance the accountant's business by automating tasks and streamlining processes, freeing up time for the Accountant to grow the value of their business.
