A retirement plan shouldn’t be built around one fixed date.
If life changes and retirement suddenly moves from 65 to 62—or even sooner—the plan needs to be flexible enough to adjust with it.

Most people picture retirement happening on their own terms. But for many, the decision comes earlier than expected.
New research shows a significant number of people leave the workforce before age 65, often because of health issues, layoffs, disabilities, or other circumstances outside their control.
In this episode, we cover what a three-year shift from 65 to 62 can mean for your retirement plan. More importantly, we talk through what to do when the timeline changes ⬇️

The 8% rule sounds great… until the market has other plans.
In this episode, Jude breaks down Dave Ramsey’s 8% withdrawal rule and compares it to the more traditional 4% rule. The conversation looks at why averages can be misleading and why a personalized plan matters more than a simple rule of thumb.
In retirement, the question isn’t just how much you could withdraw. It’s whether your income plan can hold up when life and the markets change.

One of the things I’m most grateful for isn’t just what we’ve built for our clients, it’s who we get to build it with every day. This week, we stepped away from the office and spent the day together at Andretti’s, bowling, racing go-karts, playing laser tag, and just enjoying time with our families. We also celebrated two special additions, welcoming Megan to the team and spending time with Vikki’s beautiful daughter, Millie Grace, who stole the show in more than a few pictures. At Centrus, we believe great client experiences start with a team that enjoys working together, supports one another, and celebrates each other’s successes. To our clients, thank you for trusting this team. I’m truly grateful for this group and excited for everything we’re building together.
Estate planning isn't always about complicated legal documents ⬇️

Many people think life insurance is only for replacing income if something happens to a spouse. But as life changes, its purpose can change too.
