📬 Got an IRS Verification Letter? Don’t Panic and Do not ignore it ‼️

🚨 This does NOT mean you’re being audited
💰 This does NOT mean you’re not getting your refund

What it DOES mean is the IRS simply needs to confirm your identity to protect you from fraud and make sure *you* are the one who filed the return.

👉 Think of it as a security check not a punishment.
However, ignoring this letter can delay your refund ⏳

Until you complete the verification:
❌ Your refund cannot be released
❌ Your return cannot finish processing

✅ The faster you verify, the faster your refund can move forward.

If you’ve received one and aren’t sure what to do, reach out for guidance 💬

Refunds are on the way 🎉🥳

✅Where’s My Refund” updated to Refund Approved for some filers 👏🏽
Some are now seeing deposit dates as early as Feb 23 💰

Even though transcripts may show 03-09-2026, refunds can still arrive sooner!

Reminder: Transcript dates ≠ deposit dates.

🛑Deposit timing may vary & tax preparers don’t control release dates.

🚨 REFUND UPDATE 🚨

We’ve just received an update from Refund Advantage that the **majority of funded refunds under the Path Act are expected to be deposited between February 23rd and February 25th**.

Please keep in mind:

✔️ Tax preparers do **NOT** control when funds are released
✔️ We do **NOT** control deposit timing
✔️ Once the IRS releases your refund, it then moves through the banking process
✔️ Every tax situation is different ‼️

👉 Deposit dates can vary depending on your bank and funding timeline.

🚨 DON’T PANIC ABOUT THAT TRANSCRIPT DATE 🚨

✅If you’re seeing March 9th / March 10th on your transcript right now…that does NOT mean you have to wait that long ✨

Last year this transcript showed a refund date of March 10, 2025…
👉🏽 “Where’s My Refund” updated with a deposit date of February 26, 2025

Meaning the money came EARLIER than what the transcript showed 💰

The IRS often updates WMR with an earlier direct deposit date after transcripts update.
Your refund could still be on the way sooner 🙌
Stay calm. It’s coming 💙💙

🚨🚨 CHECK THOSE TRANSCRIPTS 🚨🚨

Most people under the PATH Act are waking up to UPDATED transcripts with REFUND DATES 👏That means deposits are getting lined up 💸

“Where’s My Refund” should catch up later this week…
If you claimed PATH credits, go look NOW 👀
Your money might already be scheduled 💰✨

☕️ TAX TEA: HOW CASH ADVANCES REALLY WORK (STRAIGHT FACTS)

Let’s clear up the confusion because a lot of people are mixing opinions with facts.

A tax refund advance is a bank loan based on your tax return. It is not extra money and it is not guaranteed. Different banks have different timing, but the process always starts the same way with a complete tax return.

Before any advance is considered, your tax return has to be prepared with:
your correct personal information
all income included
all required tax forms attached

Another thing clients misunderstand is who makes decisions.

Your tax preparer does not approve advances.
The bank makes that decision.

Your preparer’s role is to prepare and submit your return correctly. The bank reviews the return details and decides if they want to lend against that refund.

If an advance is denied, it does not mean your taxes were denied. It means the bank chose not to offer the loan. Your tax return still continues through normal IRS processing.

Also important: once your tax return is submitted, going to another preparer to “try again” does not change the outcome. The return has already been filed.

The real key to a smooth cash advance season is not rushing or chasing promises. It’s having accurate information and understanding how the process works from the start.

That’s the tea.
