I have witnessed first hand the deplorable "padding of the hours billed" by CPAs, and I do not subscribe to this philosophy. Our rates are always a fixed monthly or quarterly amount which is agreed upon prior to our engagement. Additional charges only incur if our clients request our assistance with a project that is not within the normal scope of business. For example: workers comp audits, document compiling for third party entities (banks, loans, etc). Services provided include:

Payroll processing and quarterly return processing
General ledger maintenance
Financial Statement maintenance
All state and federal tax processing
Year end W2 and 1099 processing
