HONEST TAXES = "PEACE OF MIND"
Taxes can be stressful, but honesty is your best protection:
1. WE DO THINGS RIGHT. We do not use false information, made-up deductions, inflated income, or dreamed-up numbers. We help you claim what you legally qualify for and file an accurate return.
2. HONEST FILING PROTECTS YOU. A truthful return supported by proper records can help protect you and your business from penalties, interest, audits, and unnecessary stress.
3. MUTUAL RESPECT MATTERS. We respect you by becoming educated, experienced and licensed in this line of work. Please respect us and our professional values & beliefs.
4. TAXES ARE NOT SOMETHING TO PLAY WITH. Please do not assume you can outsmart the IRS or other tax authorities—attempts to avoid tax obligations often lead to serious consequences.

AS THE OCT 15TH DEADLINE APPROACHES, WE WOULD LIKE TO EMPHASIZE the following:
***Married? Choose the Right Filing Status***
If you’re legally married, your filing options are usually:
1. Married Filing Jointly (MFJ) — INNOCENT SPOUSE or INJURED SPOUSE relief may be available in certain cases.
2. Married Filing Separately (MFS) — Each spouse files their own return. This may be useful for liability protection or specific tax situations.
***What about Head of Household (HOH)?***
1. HOH is generally NOT available to MARRIED taxpayers unless you meet the IRS rules to be considered “unmarried,” such as living apart from your spouse for the last six months of the year and supporting a qualifying child or dependent.
2. You CANNOT file as Single unless you are "legally divorced" or "legally separated" under a final court decree.
3. Filing as HOH to obtain a refund or avoid debts because your spouse has tax issues is fraudulent.
With due respect, please do not pressure us to commit fraud by selecting an incorrect filing status for personal reasons.

KLui Financials:
As we’ve expanded our tax-resolution work, we’ve successfully helped clients achieve meaningful relief in difficult IRS situations, including the following:
1. IRS balance over $100,000 dating back to 2016
Result: The taxpayer was placed in Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status due to financial hardship. She is not required to make payments at this time unless her financial situation materially improves.
2. IRS balance over $80,000 dating back to 2015
Result: We helped establish an affordable IRS installment agreement of $500+ per month, allowing the client to resolve the balance through manageable monthly payments.
Every IRS case is different, but timely representation, complete financial documentation, and the right resolution strategy can make a significant difference

IRS / STATE PAYMENT PLAN GOT CANCELLED:

Please keep your installment payment plan current to avoid cancellation.
* It can be canceled if you incur new tax debt from a recent year or miss a payment as agreed with the IRS.
* If the plan is canceled, you may have to go through the same process again, and our regular fees will apply to set up a new payment plan.
* Resetting your payment plan through our office is not free; it's time consuming. However, it is free if you handle it yourself directly with the IRS.

Thank you!

Married Taxpayers: Choosing the Correct Filing Status
If you’re legally married, your filing options are limited—choosing the wrong status (especially Head of Household) can trigger IRS issues.
YOUR VALID OPTIONS:
1. Married Filing Jointly (MFJ)
* options may apply: "Innocent Spouse" or "Injured Spouse"
2. Married Filing Separately (MFS)
* Each spouse files their own return
* Often used for liability separation or specific tax situations
WHAT ABOUT HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD (HOH)?
* WRONG CHOICE. You may only qualify if you are considered “unmarried” under IRS rules and meet strict requirements (such as living apart from your spouse for the last 6 months of the year and supporting a qualifying dependent).
* Filing Single is not allowed unless you are LEGALLY divorced or separated under a final decree.
Incorrectly claiming HOH can lead to audits, penalties, and additional tax. AND it's considered a FRAUDULENT claim

KWONG RELIEF:
Today is the last day to file protective Form 843 claims under the Kwong COVID relief case for many taxpayers.
We’re cautiously optimistic the IRS will ultimately recognize broader relief, and we’ll keep you updated as new guidance is released.
