🚨 DID YOU KNOW? TAX EDITION 🚨

Working overtime in 2026?💰

Your 2026 W-2 may look a little different!

Qualified overtime compensation should now be separately reported on your W-2, and eligible taxpayers may be able to claim a new federal deduction for qualified overtime pay.

But here’s the part people need to understand:

❌ It does NOT mean all of your overtime is automatically tax-free.

The deduction generally applies to the extra portion of qualifying overtime pay required under federal law—not your entire overtime paycheck.

💰 The deduction can be up to $12,500, or up to $25,000 for married couples filing jointly, subject to eligibility requirements and income limits.

So when those W-2s start coming in…

DON’T JUST LOOK AT BOX 1!

There may be information on that W-2 that matters to your return.

Hey y’all… did you miss me? ❤️🖤

Whew! This has been one of the BUSIEST summers ever! I’ve worked and trained, trained and worked—many days and many nights—to make sure I’m prepared for the upcoming tax season.

Since June 2026, I’ve been investing time in continuing education and training to stay up to date on the latest tax laws, updates, and changes. My goal is to ensure that every tax law and update that applies to my clients is handled legally, accurately, and in compliance with current tax regulations.

🚨IMPORTANT OFFICE DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 13

My final week in the office is November 9th-13th and appointment availability is limited! If you need assistance before I step away for the season, don’t wait, book your appointment now and secure your spot.

📅 Call, message, or book today! Once November 13th passes, I will be out of the office and will not return until January 2027 as we prepare for another tax season.
