Pretty stoked about this one! 🙌🏽
More than anything, this represents years of rejection, setbacks, lessons, and refusing to quit. Success isn't built overnight. It's earned one relationship, one challenge, and one opportunity at a time.
Thanks to my rock, Ann Williams, for believing in me and helping me navigate all the ups and downs of this industry. Rodney Williams, I credit you for all you have done to mold/shape me into the man I WANT to be. Phil Wood, I appreciate your mentorship and helping me become a better financial planner/biz owner. I'm missing lots, I'm sure. But I'm grateful for all the incredible PEOPLE that have impacted my career.
Most importantly, thank you to every client who has trusted me to be your family's financial planner. That trust means everything to me.
Again, I'm stoked about this as I've been grinding in the dark for over a decade... And we're just getting started!
Please join us in congratulating Austin Williams, CFP on an incredible milestone: surpassing $100 million in assets under management (AUM)!
Austin's achievement is a reflection of the trust his clients place in him and the dedication he brings to serving families and businesses every day. A former Nebraska Cornhusker, he has carried the discipline, resilience, and work ethic that defined his athletic career into his work as a financial advisor, helping clients pursue their goals with confidence and clarity.
Reaching this milestone is about more than numbers—it's about the meaningful relationships Austin has built and the positive impact he continues to make in the lives of those he serves.
Congratulations, Austin! We are proud to have you as part of the Wealth Partners team and look forward to celebrating many more milestones ahead.

When I played football at Nebraska, Bo Pelini used to hammer one idea into us over and over: FOCUS ON THE PROCESS!
That lesson hit home this year in a way I didn’t expect.
Earlier this year, we experienced some unexpected turnover, which created a sudden surge in admin items and required me to step in and cover more than 50 open items, all while restarting the hiring process. It wasn’t easy, but it forced clarity. I went back to the drawing board, prayed even harder, and ultimately brought on Troy, who I believe will be a strong long‑term fit for our team and culture.
Meanwhile, my oldest daughter, Josie, stepped onto the wrestling mat recently which has reignited a coaching fire for me.
Her 1st tourney she went 3-0 and won a pink trophy. Her second tournament she went 0-2, walked off the mat in tears, and said, “I’m sorry, Daddy.”
I looked her in the eyes and told her, “I have never been happier with you, Josie Marie."
She fought till the very end and didn't get pinned. Zero quit and tons of effort/energy. That mattered more than any medal or trophy ever could. A real-life lesson unfolded right there on the mat.
The next day she said, completely serious, “I still can’t believe I didn’t get first place.” 🤣👍🏽
Business, parenting, faith, health, wrestling. It’s all the same lesson.
When you get knocked down, you get back up and focus on the process.
Cheers,
-AW

Here is my out of office for the next 9 days... (boat doesn't leave till noon and I have a few loose ends to tighten up before some much needed down time)
Posting this because the last 10+ years of building my practice have not been easy.
Lots of sleepless nights, massive amounts of rejection, and tons of self doubt.
"Nothing worth it in life comes easy." -Coach Wes Boehm (my HS wrestling coach)
Playing sports:
A. Kept me out of trouble (for the most part 🤪)
B. Taught me how to persevere
C. Taught me that failure is part of the process (like when I lost my starting spot on special teams at Nebraska 3x in one season 🤣)
Foundation is built. 👍🏽 Time to kick back with FAMILY! ❤️
Hoping to come back refreshed as I know it's important to "shut off" sometimes and the way I'm wired I have a hard time doing that.

Supporting causes important to you can be personally rewarding, impact someone else's life and potentially have tax benefits. How will you give back this holiday season?

S/O to our Vets. I appreciate your service. The life I get to live — my choices, my family, my business— all exist in the freedom you helped defend. 🇺🇸🦅💪🏽
Couple gems from today:
-My best man, Captain Matt Holst, was able to swing up and attend Josie's Veteran's Day Assembly at school. She asked him if he would come up and he came through! 👍🏽

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. I think my grandpa first told me that. Or maybe it was my father, when I told him that I was certain I was going to be an NFL running back. He told me that I needed a plan B. So, I was pretty dead set on making the NBA... 🤣 Of course, none of that happened, but my father also ensured (pushed and encouraged) that I got my degree and focused on education. Whether it's your investment portfolio or life dreams, don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Happy Wednesday. Earn the weekend!
