This week, we’re excited to recognize Mary Thompson as our Weekly Rockstar!

If you know Mary, you know she’s often referred to as the “office mom” at Retire SMART, and for good reason. As our Executive Assistant, Mary keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She supports the entire office, serves as David’s right-hand woman, and helps ensure that no detail falls through the cracks.

Mary has also taken the lead in coordinating our Tax Mastermind events, held twice each year, demonstrating her initiative and dedication to our team’s success. No matter how complex or unexpected the task is, Mary approaches it with a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

Beyond her many responsibilities, Mary is someone we can always count on, whether it’s for office support, a listening ear, or a conversation that brightens our day.

This week, we're excited to recognize Luke Hunsberger as our SMART Weekly Rockstar!

Luke is one of our outstanding Financial Advisor Training Interns (FATI) and is set to graduate from South Dakota State University (SDSU) next year. Even during his school breaks, Luke consistently chooses to return to our office, demonstrating an incredible work ethic, dedication, and commitment to his professional growth.

What stands out most about Luke is his initiative and eagerness to learn. He is always looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge and develop the skills needed to achieve his goal of becoming a Financial Advisor.

If you've attended one of our events, you've likely had the opportunity to meet Luke. He is always welcoming, professional, and eager to engage with attendees while sharing information about our team and the services we provide. His positive attitude, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm help create a great experience for everyone he interacts with.

Luke is a true go-getter, and we are excited to see all that he accomplishes in the future. We are proud to have him on our team and certainly hope to welcome him back after graduation.
