I don't make posts too often that are just about me; however, today I am going to reminisce that 40 years ago TODAY, 1/3/83, I began my career as a professional accountant with the firm known at the time as Touche Ross & Co. Time has gone fast. It has been a good career and for those who are interested in business it is a great entry into that world.

The IRS has extended the 2020 Individual Tax Return deadline from April 15th to May 17th. *This does not include State Tax Returns* However most States follow suit with the Federal Government. Reach out to your tax preparer for more information.
Tax Day for individuals extended to May 17: Treasury, IRS extend filing and payment deadline | Internal Revenue Service IR-2021-59, March 17, 2021 — The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced today that the federal income tax filing due date for individuals for the 2020 tax year will be automatically extended from April 15, 2021, to May 17, 2021.
