Advocacy Alert: FinCEN extends FBAR relief to all of Florida through May 1, 2025.

The IRS and FinCEN on Friday each announced filing extensions to May 1, 2025, for the entire state of Florida. The IRS' extension covers various federal filing and payment deadlines, while the FinCEN extension covers what was the Oct. 15, 2024, FBAR deadline. The FICPA continues to advocate on your behalf with state and federal agencies, and we will send member communications as needed following any additional extension announcements.
