The IRS has a new app.

The updated IRS app replaces IRS2Go and gives individual taxpayers mobile access to several helpful tools, including:
• Checking refund or amended-return status
• Viewing balances and payment activity
• Making payments
• Accessing select notices and tax records
• Retrieving an Identity Protection PIN

A quick security reminder: Use the verified download links on IRS.gov to avoid fraudulent look-alike apps, and never share your IRS login information.
