**September 11 — We Remember. ❤️**
There are moments in history that we remember not only because of where we were, but because of how they changed us.
September 11, 2001, is one of those days.
We remember the lives that were taken far too soon. We remember the families who lost loved ones and the unimaginable grief they continue to carry. We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and everyday people who ran toward danger to help others.
But I also remember what came afterward — the compassion, courage, generosity, and sense of unity that brought people together. Strangers helped strangers. Communities stood shoulder to shoulder. We were reminded of the strength that exists when we care for one another.
More than two decades later, the memories may feel different, but the importance of remembering has not changed.
Today, I pause with gratitude for those who sacrificed, compassion for those who continue to grieve, and deep appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities we often take for granted.
**We remember those we lost.
We honor those who served.
And we will never forget. **
