As we prepare for the 2024 tax season, here’s a quick reminder of when to expect your important tax documents:
- W-2s: Available by January 31, 2024
- 1099s: Most are issued by January 31, 2024, but some may arrive later
- 1098 Mortgage Statements: Typically available by January 31, 2024
- Brokerage Statements (1099-B, 1099-DIV, etc.): Often issued in mid to late February
Pro Tip: If you’re waiting for multiple forms, make sure you’ve gathered everything before filing to avoid amendments later!
