Protect Your Sensitive Data!
It seems like the quest to get access to our private financial information is forever growing. Bad actors are coming up with new tactics everyday and with technology, they are quite cunning.

I hear so many stories of people getting deceived by what appeared to be a legitimate or genuine government source. Online logos can look so real that it can be difficult to detect.

Do your due diligence and pause any response when you are not sure of that contact. If your gut feeling says no, trust your instincts.

If it sounds too good to be true, it just might be. Beware of any pressure request to make payments or to be redirected to another URL or website.

Know that agencies like the IRS makes their first initial contact with a letter sent via US mail. It will never be via messaging from social media or a text message.

It's the 4th quarter and comparing your budget versus actual numbers will give you an idea of how to use the remaining funds for the rest of the year.

Plan your holiday campaigns and promotions to reach your targeted audience early. This will help you to avoid peak-season operational bottlenecks.

Also, look for creative ideas of how to show your clients and customers how much you appreciated their business this year. All power-moves to make around this time of the year.

Most important of all, get your receipts and records in order so that when tax-time rolls around, you are not stressed trying to find them. Prepare to make 4th quarter estimated tax payments as well.

If you have not done so as yet, now will be a great time to schedule a meeting with your Accountant or Tax Professional. This way, you can get ahead of any discrepancies.
