In 2018, Equita Financial Network was born- the first platform built exclusively for women-led, fee-only financial planning firms.
Today we support 11 member firms across the country.
And we’re just getting started.

Life lately has looked like cheering on the Padres with Marnie and my husband Scott, running the Nashville Rock & Roll Half Marathon 🏃♀️, working from our Coronado office with the most unreal views from the boat, and... I’m currently writing this from Avignon, France, where I’ll be based for the next two months 🇫🇷

Katie here! 👋 Life lately has been buzzing with the excitement of Spring- school ending, longer nights, sunshine.
Basketball season ended and it was off to spend quality family time in San Diego and Hawaii! Then right into flag football season, and a lot of time sitting on the sidelines cheering on the boys’ teams.
Lunchtime walks with my Frenchie, Moose, getting my steps in on the paths of Bucks County. In April we celebrate our anniversary and my birthday, so Ryan and I had lunch in New Hope, PA. Then I was off to NYC for the Advisor Hub Women’s Summit (and had the best time)! Coffee walks in Central Park are always a favorite moment.
Running your own firm is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. It’s also a lot, and I’m constantly reminded how much easier it is when you have the right people around you.
Grateful for this season, for the Equita community, and for every woman out there building something she’s proud of.

Katie here 👋 There’s nothing quite like the energy of women coming together to learn, connect, and support one another.
Yesterday at the AdvisorHub’s Women Advisors Summit in New York City, I joined an incredible group of women leaders across the wealth management industry for a day filled with meaningful conversations, fresh ideas, and powerful connections.
From insightful discussions to authentic networking moments, the event was a strong reminder of how important community is, especially in an industry where collaboration and shared experiences can truly elevate success.
And yes…there was plenty of fun along the way too 😊
Grateful to be part of a profession where women continue to show up for each other, challenge one another to grow, and build something bigger together.
