A little about me

I was born and raised in St. Lucia, where my aunt worked at a local bank. Seeing the impact my aunt had on making other people’s financial dreams come true, I knew that’s what I wanted to do. My family immigrated to Brooklyn, New York when I was 11 in search of a better life. Never giving up on my dreams, I attended Medgar Evers Preparatory High School followed by Medgar Evers College. While attending college, I worked at a local retail store as a store merchandiser. I started my career in banking with JP Morgan Chase as a Personal Banker in 2011 and through hard work and dedication became a Private Client Business Banker. Wanting to have a well-rounded impact on each client I served, I transitioned to financial service and joined FHFG.

With a strong sense of community I am always looking to lend a helping hand to help others in need. Banding together with local advocates and New York Cares I help feed the homeless throughout Brooklyn and hand out care packages to different women’s shelter. To quench my thirst for knowledge, in my spare time I am an avid reader. Some of my all-time favorite books are Their Eyes were watching God by Zora Neale Hurston, Madame President by Helen Cooper, She Would Be King by Wayétu Moore, A long way Gone by Ishmael Beah and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Understanding that knowledge doesn’t only reside in books, I have traveled to most parts of the Caribbean and I’m now extending my travels to the Africa.
