Before joining Raymond James in 2023, Jelani ran for a local office as the candidate for County Commissioner. Currently, Jelani serves as the Co-Chair for the Valor Veterans Inclusion Network and as Chairman of the New Jersey Delta Chapter of the Phi Delta Theta Chapter Advisory Board. Outside of the office, Jelani enjoys reading, running in Central Park, and dedicating his time to philanthropic causes.
