Bookkeeping can be cumbersome, especially when you are also trying to run a business. I want to alleviate that stress and help small business owners save time and get a better understanding of their finances. We can set up a monthly, quarterly or as-needed bookkeeping service. I will enter in your company's transactions, reconcile cash and credit card accounts, and organize receipts for proper backup. I can answer questions and work with your accountant to suggest ways to increase profit and maximize tax deductions. If you want to learn to do your own books, I am more than happy to train you.

Wondering what happens after you say yes? Here’s how we get you set up:

- Sign and get started: we send your engagement letter, BAA and onboarding invoice.
- Onboarding day: we get secure access to your QuickBooks, bank and credit card accounts, loans and payroll.
- Review results: about 2–3 weeks after onboarding, we meet to walk through your numbers and dashboard and build a plan together.

When Dr. Johnson (name changed) came to me, he was getting ready to open his own private practice.

I expected we'd start from scratch. Instead, he already had so many resources in place. How? The Highland IPA.

Nancy Fainzin Sachetti, Executive Director at Highland Healthcare Associates IPA, had already helped him get set up.

Our team works from different places, and most of our meetings happen on Zoom. But distance has never made us feel apart. We check in, we cheer each other on, and we show up for one another, on the good days and the busy ones. That connection is what our clients feel in every close, every report and every answer we give.

Physicians with their own private practices need to pay quarterly estimated taxes.

Here's a simple framework to calculate what you owe:

- Take your net income plus gross wages
- Multiply by 30%
- Subtract what you've already paid in taxes this year through salary deferrals

Once you know the number, set it aside.
