The folder is not the plan.

In case of emergency, most families have a folder, a binder, or maybe a safe deposit box.

Having a will is a good start, but there's a lot that a will doesn't tell you.

It's just one document out of 8 categories that you need. What are the rest?

Most people who have a will assume the hard part is done.

I understand why. The will is the visible thing. It required an attorney, an appointment, signatures. It feels finished the day you sign it, and it stays feeling finished in the drawer for the next twenty years.

But what about your beneficiaries? And does your family know where to find everything?

Valid is not the same as complete.

On October 7th I'm hosting a webinar that's going to show you exactly what to check.

A financial power of attorney ends at death.

After that, only the executor can act.

Estate attorney Rocco Seminerio joins Session 1 of the Family Preparedness Webinar Series on October 7 to cover what changes legally at each stage.

A will covers just one category out of eight.

Next week, on October 7th, I walk you through the rest of the estate planning checklist, including financial accounts, insurance, and digital access, and why most families have never seen the full list.

Every woman has a money story: the narrative built long before she knew anything about money, in a kitchen or at a dinner table, watching who handled it and who didn't ask.

Sometimes it's protective. More often it's covering something that's been quietly compounding for years.

Jennifer's guided reflection walks through four sections, with room to write and no right answers, for women ready to look at whether the story is still serving them.

Next Wednesday (Oct 7th @ 1PM) is session 1 of our Family Preparedness Webinar Series, with Frank Granizo and estate attorney Rocco Seminerio.

We will cover: the four stages every family moves through, what changes legally at each one, and the Estate Document Checklist we use with clients, all eight categories of it.

A lot of accomplished women feel uneasy about their finances—not because they've made bad decisions, but because no one ever walked them through how it all connects.

The 401k. The RSUs. The cash sitting in a savings account. The estate plan that doesn't quite exist yet. Separately, each one feels manageable. Together, without a framework, it just feels like a lot of things you're behind on.

You're not behind. You're working without a complete map.

That's fixable.

I work with women who have built serious careers and real wealth — and still feel like they're guessing. The missing piece is almost never effort. It's always the framework.
