I left the world behind;
This Thursday is no different than countless Thursdays that passed my life,
I am awake after a restful night sipping my wonderful tea.
And a birthday call came from my wife from 20 mikes away
Last evening was a peaceful a silent walk around the heritage hills and I thought about relations and conversations
Starting with greetings and pictures from my college I raised 33 years ago lifted my mood - my love of 33 years has matured
Aadhya called up from the plane taking off from KL to Delhi - she believes body movements are linked to mood - she is a dancer apart from being a painter and a designer and yoga teacher.
Vikas has left for his office as his colleague flew from west to east to meet him - he is a researcher with an amazing level of Math.
People around me have their own thoughts own dreams and I now don’t quarrel with them.
I had been hearing prashant a lot during last three days - he exhorts people to question who am I?
this question was first asked 2500 years ago and I wonder why?
I make my own wars my own peace and my own miseries and my own joy
This is what I did this Thursday - thousand of Thursdays I have lived so far but this one is special as I turn 77 today
And I recreated my world again - begin my day with my own poem.
Then Rajan called from 13000 miles away - we know each other for 75 years
He was visiting his brother wife who has a poetic name roughly translated as Evening.
We were discussing human relations - money greed and ego!
Finally Noor grand daughter called up from 10000 mikes away
I knew her struggle since the moment she appeared for the first time in this planet - watching and celebrating her gain even a few grams a day
I have left the world behind knowing fully well I did not create it for myself.
At 77 I can say it well.
