Hello All, I know many of you are receiving notices about the Saver Program.
The government is matching 50% of contributions up to $1,000. You have to contribute to an IRA and have under the income limits to be eligible. If you are married each spouse is eligible. This is not in effect yet. You would have to contribute in tax year 2027. Then when I do your return in 2028 we would have to file form 8880-A so you can receive the match.
THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH 2026 COMING TAX YEAR.
Of course as this develops I will be sending out information.
The IRS letter is informational at this point.

I want to remind everyone that there are a lot of scams and fraud going on out there, especially for the elderly. Do not become a victim. The IRS will never call you and ask for information over the phone or send an email

Happy September, hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather.
I like to always send a friendly reminder that if you are self employed, receive a 1099 to make sure you send in your 3rd quarter estimated tax payment due by 9/15/2026. If you are on a tax extension, just a friendly reminder to make sure your tax documents are in as the deadline for tax extensions is 10/15/2026. Do not wait for last minute for either mentioned, so they are completed in time😁
