If you filed an extension for your Partnership Return (1065) or S-Corp Return (1120S), the final deadline is SEPTEMBER 15TH.

If you filed an extension for your Personal Return (1040) or C-Corp Return (1120), the final deadline is OCTOBER 15TH.

File by the final deadline to avoid steep IRS Failure to File Penalties. Important: Your extension applies to your tax return filing only, not any balances due.
