As many of you know, the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is from October 15 to December 7. During this time, you have opportunity to review and or switch to a new Medicare plan, which will take affect the following year on January 1.

The 2020 Lagniappe’s Nappie Award for Best Investment Banker/Financial Planner in the Shopping & Services Category (“the award”) is based on the top voted Investment Banker/Financial Planner contestant. Each year, Lagniappe newspaper recognizes the top individual or business in a variety of categories, including Nightlife, Politicos, Professional Services and Retail, Shopping and Services: Beauty, Health, and Wellness, Music, Media, Kids, Eats and Drinks, City Life, and Arts. Each category subdivides into their own list of categories. Each subcategory has five finalists, which are voted on by the public. To be eligible for this nomination, the public had to cast their votes by June 28th, 2020. This year the firms fall under the following category: Shopping and Services: Professional Services and Retail, with a subcategory of Best Investment Banker/Financial Planner. The award may not be representative of any one client’s experience because the award reflects a sample of all of the experiences of the adviser’s clients. We had a blast for our 2020 fishing trip. The weather was perfect and the fish were biting. We can't wait for next year!

It was a great turn out for the Cheers for Children event this year. Cheers for Children is an annual event to raise money and awareness for the Child Advocacy Center in Mobile, AL. Thank you to all who came out to support the center and children!
