The IRS has announced federal tax relief for individuals and businesses affected by Hurricane Isaias in Florida and Alabama, postponing various filing and payment deadlines to February 8, 2027, and February 4, 2027, respectively.

Key Details of the Relief

• Florida Deadline Extension: Taxpayers in designated disaster-affected counties have until February 8, 2027, to file individual and business tax returns and make tax payments that were originally due during the disaster period.
• Alabama Deadline Extension: Affected taxpayers in Alabama have until February 4, 2027, to meet various postponed tax deadlines.
