After leaving several voicemails I finally received a call back from the State of Alabama Attorney General. I was told they have no way of knowing who is eligible. Only Credit acceptance and or the state court appointed administration would know and will be contacting everyone by mail. I kinda figured what credit acceptance initially told me was not true because it did not sound right that you don't know if your own clients are eligible for the settlement but like any process there is always trial and error so I will give them grace. So my advice today would be to call credit acceptance and update your address and wait I will continue to update as I receive information from direct sources.

Yes credit acceptance has a settlement but you should not contact credit acceptance you should speak with your state attorney general office to find out if your account is eligible. The only thing credit acceptance can do is update your phone number, home and email address.
