An OFFSET means the IRS applied your refund to a debt like:
• Child support
• Student loans
• Certain federal/state debts

If you don’t have a PATH Act funding date yet, it does NOT automatically mean something is wrong.

It usually means the IRS is still reviewing part of your return. This can happen for reasons like:

✔️ Identity or fraud verification
✔️ New or changed dependents
✔️ Income that doesn’t match IRS records
✔️ First-time credits (CTC, EITC, etc.)
✔️ Missing or delayed documents
✔️ Random IRS reviews

This is normal during refund season — especially for returns with dependents.

It doesn’t mean denied.
It doesn’t mean forgotten.
It means processing.

Please be patient with the process — your time is coming.
