I played tennis from 7th grade through my sophomore year of college, and I FINALLY made it to the US Open!

Seeing Billie Jean King walk out onto the court was definitely the highlight for me. Plus, US Open Tournament Director, Eric Butorac greeted Roger Federer as he received his International Tennis Hall of Fame ring. Eric’s dad, Tim, coached me throughout my junior high and high school years during the off-season. Eric and his brother, Jeff, were always on the courts, and it was a pleasure to see Eric on the main stage! What wowed me, you ask? Seeing Naomi Osaka’s walkout outfit — she showed up to PLAY!

We had a super fun time on Saturday at our photo fundraiser event where Jack Strub of Strub Studios gave individuals and families a fun relaxed environment for updated headshots and family photos. ROYA llc and Ridgestone Financial sponsored the event and photo subjects had the opportunity to donate to Pfund. Whether you’re working, retired, or somewhere in between— having a fresh headshot can be surprisingly valuable. From LinkedIn profiles to volunteer bios, or even just a great photo to share with loved ones, it’s always nice to have an updated image that looks and feels like you. For all these reasons, we are hosting our first Headshot/Family Photo Fundraiser! Not only will it provide you with a fresh, digital photo, but it will also help to support Pfund!

Cost: In lieu of a fee for the photo session we are asking participants to consider making a meaningful donation towards our $10,000 fundraising goal. We will match donations up to $5,000.
On the day of the event, we’ll make giving easy by providing QR codes for online donations, as well as envelopes for cash or checks.
